MR. PENHALIGON'S POTIONS PARLOUR

Raise a glass to Penhaligon's latest collection of scents, Potions and Remedies, with a cocktail inspired by each fragrance. A word of warning: they'll pack quite the punch, old chap.

Mr Penhaligon's Potions Parlour

Penhaligon’s adores a cocktail or two, if you hadn’t already noticed. So, in celebration of the new Potions & Remedies fragrances that has noses wagging, one couldn’t resist conjuring up a couple of cocktails of our own to complement the collection.

Ginger. Rose. Lavender. Matcha. Marvel at your mixology skills as you shake and stir your way through the recipes below. One can also test their culinary prowess in the kitchen by making homemade syrups, or simply sweep them off the shelves at the local market. We won’t judge.

POTIONS & REMEDIES

Liquid Love Paloma

100ml grapefruit juice
50ml blanco tequila
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1-2 tbsps rose water
Dash of ginger beer, to taste

Pour the grapefruit juice, tequila, lime juice, and rose water into a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for a minute or two. Pour over ice into a glass. Finish with ginger beer for added fizz.

A Balm of Calm Sling

50ml preferred choice of gin
1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
25ml lavender syrup
Dash or two lavender bitters
Splash of soda water
Lavender sprigs

Let all those repressed feelings out as you vigorously shake the ingredients together. Pour into a highball glass, top it off with soda. Garnish with soothing sprigs of lavender. Serenity will wash over you from the very first sip.

Eau the Audacity Martini

50ml premium vodka

Squeeze of lime juice
1 tsp demerara sugar
1 tsp high quality matcha
