Deliciously seductive
Ordered a sample, excitedly sprayed it on my wrists and like a secret being revealed, my senses were spinning. I absolutely adore this fragrance. It is strong and heady and makes me feel gorgeous. I can unequivocally say that this is, hands down, my favourite scent of any perfumery let alone from Penhaligons house, and I have a lot of Penhaligons fragrances, this one is unbeatable. It genuinely is the dreamed of, elusive scent of something timeless and very like incense (undoubtedly thanks to the myrrh) that I have been longing for ! It is complete perfection on my skin.

Absolutely stunning!
Spicy but somehow still fresh! I’m a huge fan of liquorice but some fragrances don’t know how to make it work without making the scent too sweet. This concoction is excellently balanced. Loved at first sniff!

My new Favourite
have quite a few Penhaligons that I like, probably Halfeti being my favourite followed by Lothair and then Endymion. Had a few that I liked in the shop but didn't want to use long term like Lord George. So didn't want to risk buying something I wasn't sure of but liked the descripton, so bought the tester and like it so much I have ordered a full size bottle. I don't like soapy smelling scents, prefer the woody style, I think this is sort of tobacco, leather and vanilla but my wife doesn't get the first two. Have been using for a week and I must saying going back to the others I much prefer Petra. Will be buying more of this to be sure...
