This year, Halfeti Cedar joins the ranks of the best-selling fragrance, the OG Halfeti. In the third instalment to the Halfeti collection, the nose Christian Provenzano's creative mind transports the wearer to the unchartered, mythical forests near the Euphrates River of the ever-intriguing Turkey. I love this new interpretation from the get-go - the rush of boozy rum contrasted against the juicy, succulent peach in the opening before delving into a melange of intense notes of dried fruits and nectar-like properties of immortelle in the heart. The twist to the original is found in the base comprised of an overdose of leathery cistus labdanum and woody cedar - Virginian and Atlas, making this fragrance wearable daily.
