  • Aquatic-berries flavour an invigorating breeze and the coastline marches ahead. Below, outstretched an infinite sea, blustering with the beauty of Nature untamed. Unfolding all around, profound consolation and exhilaration. Illumination and inspiration.

A painterly scene. The familiar tableau of shore against raging sea. The air is crisp from a soft minerality. Wild fruit adds sparkle, berries, pink pepper, green leaves crushed underfoot, eglantine rose, hawthorn, a touch of the rugged. Nature’s magic is abundant. Red earth (pink peppercorn) and musks, add a welcome hint of the carnal, Nature’s seductive power hits a high. Moss and woods root the altitudes to the earth, Mother Nature silently rejoices.
A precious memory of the British Isles on a light flooded morning lost, as we were, in reverie.

Light And Fresh Review
I always wanted a ‘signature’ scent that everyone associated with me and I’ve found it. It’s light enough for work but everyone comments how lovely it... is and asks what it is. Smells lovely and layers well but I also like the fact that everyone looks blank when I tell them what it is. Lovely and exclusive  ... more

If You Like Woody Green Aquatic Notes, This Is For You Review
It's a beautifully composed, fresh, light scent with energising aquatic and green notes blended with moss and creamy white florals. I received a sampl...e from a lovely man in the Cambridge branch and have been happily wearing BB ever since.  ... more

It'S A Blooming Masterpiece! Review
This is a very fresh floral fragrance with a strong undercurrent of marine elements that intensify with time. It effectively supports the idea of flow...ers by the sea. The marine complex suggests the use of materials like Calone or Scentenal (Firmenich) but they harmonise nicely and the effect is not too synthetic. Those who remember Faberge's New West will feel in familiar territory here, though this perfume is decidedly better. Blasted Bloom should really be classified as unisex, not feminine. It puts me in mind of a 1960's men's fragrance called Signoricci which also had a sea-fresh, slightly geranium like quality. In today's terms it's in the same general category as, for example, Corvina Negra by Fueguia. Somewhat harsh maybe, but that's in keeping with the name and the concept.  ... more

Universally Admired Review
I work and travel incessantly, at the highest social, professional and political levels (international lawyer). I therefore require a scent that is ...delicate and refined, but original, and not too cloying. This was a gift from my daughter, and I am CONSTANTLY asked what fragrance I am wearing... across all cultures, ages, languages, and climates. I would therefore consider this to be a genuine investment in feeling fresh and elegant, regardless of context. I'm waiting for Christmas for a new instalment, however - dearest daughter - I frankly can't wait and will have to stock up for myself this time.  ... more

Wake Up And Smell The Sea... Review
I ordered this lovely fragrance on the description alone, without having tried it - I'm so glad I bought it!!! The slightly frosted glass bottle is be...autiful, an appropriate container for such a delicate fragrance. It is incredibly well-balanced: tangy sea-side struck through with the softness of new grass after the rain, a weathered rawness tempered by wild herbs trampled underfoot...it is indeed blasted bloom.  ... more

Men - Give It A Try Too. Review
Intrigued by the concept of a fragrance that could capture the smells of the British coastal moorland and heath but no fan of patchouli in any guise I... found myself in possession of a free sample of Blasted Bloom - oblivious to the fact that it is marketed for women - and so naturally gave it a try. After an initial burst of mossiness, a breeze of salt air, the fragrance fairly quickly settled down to a clean but complex fougere-like fragrance, with light floral notes. For me an ideal spring-summer-early autumn fragrance. Well worth a try regardless of gender.   ... more

Amazing Review
Popped in Covent Garden store for a change in my signature fragance and was inmediately attracted to this beauty. It perfectly evoques echoes of my ch...ildhood by the Atlantic ocean, it is really the scent of the humble wild flora on the top of a cliff. I am absolutely head over heels now for this fragance,my chilhood summers in a bottle, such a perfect bottled remembrance.  ... more
