A Balm of Calm, does what it say's on the tin.
A bought this from the Penhaligon's shop in the Perfumery in the Dubai Mall. The open front layout of the shop made in inviting to wander in and test the various fragrances, much to my daughters delight, as she was smelling as many fragrances as she could. I was initially going to buy a bottle of Endymion, a long time favourite of mine, going back 20 years or more. However, I was drawn to the new range of Potions & Remedies. Testing them, A Balm of Calm, was the one for me and my wide and daughter agreed, so they gave me the go ahead to buy. I would say it is an all year round fragrance, as I've worn it in Autumn and Winter and I expect to wear it more through Spring and Summer. On my pale, Northern European skin it lasts around 4-5 hours, so if you are wearing it for work, you might need a top up half way through your day. It is not in your face with its projection, which is what I like, as I've others that can deliver that, should the circumstance need it. As an aside, I took out a polo jumper that I'd not worn for 6-7 months and I could still smell Halfeti on it. Overall I'm glad I bought this and add this to my Penhaligon's collection.
