Simply stunning !
I purchased an atomiser and had it filled complimentary, this beauty was the chosen scent. I’m converted it’s simply stunning, the salted caramel light notes shine through. For me It knocks halfeti off the top spot. . I definitely will be purchasing this,

Simply edible!
Was gifted this as a Christmas present this year to add to my collection and everyone who I walk past is has said how I smell like a caramel/vanilla dessert with a shot of brandy aha! Definitely a sexy and sweet warm smell that I would recommend to anyone who leans towards those sweet warm notes in their fragrance. Will definitely be repurchasing once I run out!

Changing Constance is one of my favourite Portraits characters. Her fierce and strong nature is admirable. My favourite note in this fragrance is the salted butter caramel, this mixed with vanilla created a beautiful but niche scent.

This is my first Penhaligon's portrait fragrance from the collection. I was recommended by one of the staff in Regent Street store after receiving a blind fragarnce profiling test. I own a bottle of Artemisia and was looking for something similar. If you like Artemisia and Lothair, Chanhing Constance would be a good fit!

As somebody who tends to select fragrance olfactively, ( opting for green, zesty unisex fragrances usually) I would never normally reach for a fragrance with Salted Butter Caramel being showcased. However everything about Changing Constance is a joyful surprise. Reminding me daily that you can be strong and feminist (cardamom, pimento and tobacco) yet soft and feminine (Salted Butter Caramel and Cashmeran). Why compromise when you can have it all? I layer Constance over Babylon body lotion in the summer to let the sun transport my fragrance to the noses of passers by. In winter, my coat and scarf are doused with her on cold evenings, feeling like a sweet and spicy embrace. If Constance were a person, I’m sure she’d be my best friend.

Sweet, yet commanding fragrance
If you are looking for a sweet fragrance which also has depth and longevity, look no further - Changing Constance has enchanting buttered salted caramel balanced with with dreamy smoky tobacco.... what a wonderful combination! This is a scent I love wearing moving into autumn/winter. It's a truly uplifting fragrance.

Sweet, foody, festive.
This is my favourite of the Portraits. I imagine it’s not for everyone, but it has a particularly sweet, puddingy smell - rather like a spicy butterscotch. Works best (in my opinion) in the autumn and winter - particularly Christmas.

Long lasting fragrance
Changing Constance made a great performance for me on my date with some friends. Plus I made new friends because wear this fragrance had such an effect on everyone . This is a wonderful unique smell and it definitely out shined me wich is great because I felt like I was the queen of the party!

Surprise find
My husband bought me the Portraits library as a stocking filler and Changing Constance was my favourite. I've now bought a full size bottle.I don't usually like gourmand fragrances but it's also an amber and a bit leathery: I always partial to those!
