Timeless sophistication
My first Penhaligons purchase and my oh my isn’t it just the most divine fragrance. I adore the beeswax note which is so unique. First impressions were of wonder. Such a complex fragrance that exudes a timeless sophistication and harks back to a different era. I genuinely feel my spirits lifted when I wear Sartorial. I can’t explain why but it feels so special and luxurious like fine art in a bottle. I also love its longevity. Looking forward to owning more Penhaligons fragrances in the future.

The Spirit of the Old Barber Shop
I've had Sartorial on for the last three days, and it's a scent that oozes class and appeal. This fragrance puts a fresh spin on the traditional Fougère blending lavender, steam, and vanilla to evoke the cozy feel of an old-school barbershop. The aroma matches the look and polish of Norton & Sons, the brand behind the suit I'm wearing with it. Sartorial has a gentle sophistication and an easy elegance...just right for today's well dressed man.

A Must Have for any Gentlemen's Collection
This well crafted fragrance is classic and sophisticated, but the aldehydes and water notes at the top, the leather middle note, and the base notes of amber and tonka bean give it a modernity that makes it a masterpiece. When I read that the inspiration was bespoke tailers on Savile Row I knew Penhaligon had to pull this fragrance off: and they did. Well done!

Penhaligon’s Sartorial
For me, the best fragrances are the ones that sweep me away to Penhaligons humble beginnings in the late 19th century, my favourite era, ones that give me confidence and make me smile. Sartorial is one of those fragrances that initially confuse me. I never know how to feel or what I make of it which gives it mystery. At first, one wouldn’t be sure on whether they like it or not but what they will find is that they wouldn’t be able to stop smelling it’s mysterious, dapper and sophisticated presence in order to find out. This is one of the all time greats!
