while in heathrow i was looking for a new perfume to add to my collection, and always found myself drawn to penhaligon's marketing and interesting designs! when i sampled this one, i was astounded at how natural and pleasant it was. i even found myself shocked at how much it smelled like breathing in the soft scent of black currant! a new favorite :)

We definitely get the scents of fresh and juicy Blackcurrant, citrus lemon, and neroli mix blooming from the start. Within around 2-3mins time, it quickly turns into a white floral sort of scent, ylang-ylang and tiare flower are dominant here with blackcurrant laying at the back. We could not scent the vanilla but cedarwood and sandalwood are both laying quietly. A very enjoyable unisex summer fragrance for sure and considering this is a special edition perfume being made in Spain instead of England from Penhaligon's collection. Imagine yourself on holiday walking under the sun in heated Spain and Italy...or on the field in the vineyard during the grape harvest period. Spray on clothes and it should linger for half a day. Lively and sunshine in a bottle!
