Racquets

Racquets is the ultimate spring/summer time fragrance for me. It’s a wonderful citrus/leather masterpiece of a scent. The lemon is perfectly placed without smelling too synthetic and the leatherwood just perfects the scent as a whole. A great addition to any fragrance lover's collection.

Rejoining Penhaligon's British Tales lineup, Racquets pays homage to the hallowed grounds of the iconic address, SW 19 Wimbledon. From the sleek strawberries and cream shade on the bowtie to the all-white label reminiscent of players' strict dress code, this masterpiece was signed off by famed perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin. It begins winning a combination of zesty lemons with paradisone/osmanthus in the opening captures the environment's energy before settling down over calming palo santo in the heart, followed by a base of seductive leather and a whisper of the salty ambroxan. Game, set, and match! P.S. Racquets layers very well with Changing Constance :)

Racquets is a unique scent, a perfect balance of citrus and leather. This scent is intense and brings a hint of freshness to the winter days. This is definitely a good option for a Christmas gift.

I never normally choose "lemony" or "leathery" scents, but Racquets has hit the sweet spot. Neither too citrusy nor too heavy with leather, this has become one of my go-to fragrances out of the whole Penhaligon's portfolio. Although probably one more for spring/summer, wearing this perfume would certainly add a ray of sunshine to a dark autumn/winter day.

Racquets is my go to scent, especially during the summer time. The mixture of citrus and leather notes creates a niche concoction with the freshness of the citrus complimented with the lingering leather notes
