HAMMAM BOUQUET
Lavender and sandalwood rub shoulders in the fragrant Turkish baths of Mayfair.
€160 Eau de Toilette €160 / 100 ml
The luxurious scent of a bygone era. (Our very first fragrance, no less.) It's 1872, and in the Turkish baths of Mayfair, heady lavender, rose and sandalwood rub shoulders. Pass me a towel, old chap.

"WILLIAM PENHALIGON'S FIRST FRAGRANCE, A TIMELESS CLASSIC INSPIRED BY THE BATHS OF MAYFAIR. IT CAUSED QUITE A STIR THEN, IT CAUSES QUITE THE SENSATION NOW."
For Penhaligon's oldest scent, it's very modern and innovative! A soothing melody of lavender and spice for ladies or gents.

There is nothing like it
I've been using it since I was 15 years old (34 now), and I have occasionally been cheating with other scents, but always returned to this. There is nothing like it, it does not resemble anything else - at least not that I have come across. It's very powdery, and lots of heavy rose - somewhat brutal and extremely unmodern, yet elegant (and sexy..) in a not overly refined way. Sits beautifully and develops nicely over time.
