HIKING THROUGH AN ENCHANTED FOREST
Juniper Sling guides me through an enchanted winter forest. I see juniper berries purple in hue, generating a pungent sweet scent. Some overripe oranges rest on the soil. I gently peel them open; the tangy juice slides down my fingers. It reminds me of a glass of sparking gin tonic, the one you would order on a romantic date. With each step I make, I feel the aromatic herb in the air, including angelica. I then lit a cigarette; the smoke unravels itself. A warm, spicy scent calls for a cherry pie topped with a layer of cinnamon and sugar. Juniper Sling is a scent of both mystery and nostalgia.
The ultimate scent
A good scent invokes a feeling a nostalgia. An amazing scent makes me nostalgic for something I never experienced. That’s what Juniper Sling does for me! It wraps you in a warm blanket of comfort. It is refreshing like sipping on a freshly poured Hendrick’s Gin Tonic, as the sun sets on your country estate, while you’re checking in on your vanilla Bundt cake as your perfectly blow dried hair blows in the wind. Just buy it already! You won’t regret it!
The Best With Lord George!
Loved this perfume straight away when I was given a discovery box with Juniper Sling in it a few years ago. It is so original (it has gin in it) that I always get compliments when I wear it.
Sharp & Snappy
Just like a good G&T refreshes one, this is real pick-me-up for the skin.
Yet Another Favourite Fave....
This is my summer scent of choice, light and zesty followed by an entriquiging low note - never fails that someone will ask me what scent I am wearing.
My Absolute Favourite Scent
Juniper doing is my absolute favourite scent and body wash... Reserved for those days where I want to feel extra special. It's crisp and clean and with the undertone of juniper reminds me of sitting outside somewhere with a crisp G&T!
Perfect Year-Round Scent
I bought this fragrance as a surprise for my husband. It is perfect for all year use. Light and airy notes work well in the warmer temperatures and warm, deep notes shine in the cooler air. Literally 1-2 sprays last all day without being overpowering. The room will smell like Juniper Sling as well, which is wonderful to return home to after a long day.
Sartorial Shaving Cream
Bought this lovely product for my husband ...it exudes a wonderful mysterious but classic scent on the skin...inspired by the cutting rooms of Savile Row the smell of beeswax, lavender and moss come through delicately It is a lovely masculine uplifting fragrance leaving the skin soft and fresh
Bought this fragrance on a whim and I love love it as does many people who have asked me what perfume I have on.
Powerful & Charismatic.
I have received a sample of Juniper Sling together with my Vaara & fell in love instantly. This fragrance is powerful and confident. It will suit you well if you work in a position where you influence others and expect them to follow. As a young female, I'm still establishing myself as a professional and this fragrance gives me that extra confidence boost, that freshness and crispiness of ideas and charismatic presence. You are felt to illuminate and give the aura of uniqueness. I realise we are all different and have different expectations. Nevertheless, I wanted to share with you my own experience with Juniper Sling.
I didn't think anything could prize me away from my favourite Jo Malone fragrance but juniper sling has done just that! It's uplifting, refreshing and totally unique and even my male friends comment on it. I take the bottle to work with me and spritz throughout the day as I find it so uplifting
Beautiful Glorious Scent
I bought this for a gift, and after having smelt it, its all i can think about. A wonderful subtle fragrance, which lingers and just gets better throughout the day. I love Juniper Sling. Can't recommend enough. Incredible customer service from Penhaligons also. They went above and beyond to help me with my enquiries. I can't recommend enough. Thanks so much!
Stop reading and just buy if for Haeven's sake!
Juniper Sling has been a true discovery. Its scent is soft, elegant and simply perfect.
If You Like Gin...
I have mixed feelings about Juniper Sling... I think the best way to put is that it's not for everyone. Juniper Sling was inspired by ingredients found in gin and that much is clear. I first read about Juniper Sling in GQ and thought "this sounds great, I should try it" I got a sample and while I can see why people would love it, I was a bit disappointed. I think I was expecting a light sweet scent, but that's not what it was. It was heavier and it reminded me too much of the liquor for me to want to use it regularly. I think if you are a big fan of scents like Juniper or the gin, then you might love this cologne. I can't say it was for me. I would however recommend it to someone who is looking for a scent that is alternative, and reminds you of G&T
A Scented Gin With A Peppery Freshness
Juniper Sling opens with a fantastic flourish of scented gin, carefully crafted and inexplicably derived from the list of ingredients stated. Although tantalising with each and every burst, such is the gin-like precision of the perfumer, Olivier Cresp, curious glances might precede office enquiries into a wearer’s after-hours activities if this potent aroma was maintained. Luckily for one’s job prospects, this alcoholic olfactive frolic quickly subdues and a crisp, clean scent develops. A spicy mix of cinnamon, cardamom and black pepper rests lightly on a bed of wood, green vetiver and dark, sweet berries in a combination that maintains until the finish. Juniper Sling is bold in that it promotes scents more commonly thought of as supporting actors, giving them sole control of the stage. The outcome is astounding: a subtle, dark-fruit sillage with a clear, peppery freshness, a delightfully delicate yet different summer-cocktail fragrance with a warmer edge.
