Oud del Nil

I don’t need to write a long review as simply you must buy this fragrance it’s quite simply perfection in a bottle and it simply transports you to a warm Middle Eastern desert far far away so utterly beautiful. I would like to note that I brought this blind buying and wasn’t sure just went on the description but these fragrances are just beyond exquisite thank you Penhaligons once again also this is my 12th purchase from the range yes I have an addiction but a lovely one ♥️

This was the first fragrance I ever bought from Penhaligons, I was gutted that I found it a few months after our wedding as I struggled to find my wedding perfume! Oud de Nil will always have a special place in my heart! I recently bought two as it’s been reduced. Love as a day and evening perfume, I always have countless compliments from strangers with this perfume, it’s so unique!

I purchased this blind as a tester and it's absolutely gorgeous. On its own, it's so mesmerising and quietly complex - perfect for a summer evening. Addictive is absolutely correct. You just have to keep going back for another hit from your wrists. Spicy, but not overwhelming. The smoky Oud note is really subtle and not at all heavy like many attempts at this potentially challenging ingredient. A beautifully balanced and really sophisticated unisex scent. Very alluring. I layered it with Orange Blossom and it's just an out of this world combination.

I blind bought this scent after unsuccessfully trying to locate it to test based on a suggestion. I checked out the notes and it seemed compatible to my usual loved perfumes Amber, jasmine, rose, oriental... this perfume is at the same time both familiar and unusual. It’s a combination of notes unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. It’s incredibly long-lasting and addictive. It smells like quality and sophistication. I will absolutely repurchase
