In the third instalment to the Halfeti collection, the nose Christian Provenzano's creative mind transports the wearer to the unchartered, mythical forests near the Euphrates River of the ever-intriguing Turkey. I love this new interpretation from the get-go - the rush of boozy rum contrasted against the juicy, succulent peach in the opening before delving into a melange of intense notes of dried fruits and nectar-like properties of immortelle in the heart. The twist to the original is found in the base comprised of an overdose of leathery cistus labdanum and woody cedar - Virginian and Atlas, making this fragrance wearable daily.
