I was very surprised by this scent, don’t know why I thought it smell different to what it does , it’s a sweet smell but not to over sweet, it has a cinnamon smell. A strong scent for sure, what I’d call a woody and fruity aroma. All in all a lovely smells that I could wear again

Quite a sweet smell!
I was quite surprised by this scent, it’s a sweet smell but not over sweet, it has a cinnamon back note. A strong scent for sure, what I’d call a woody and fruity aroma. All in all a lovely parfum that I’d wear again.

Very sweet and subtle fragrance
I normally like Oudh and Woody fragrances, so it's not something I would usually go for, but this is nice. I tried a sample bottle (as per the picture) - a couple of sprays on my wrists and it lasts several hours. It's very sweet and floral - so I'd probably mix this with a heavier scent when using regularly.

Quite overpowering when first sprayed but give it 5 minutes and it calms down, got a really pleasant strong musk smell to it. Lasts all day my other half really likes it and has a few compliments on it since using

Perfect blend with the scent lasting all day
A spicy woody fragrance. The base note of Cedarwood hit me first but straight after the blend which includes notes of black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and vanilla really make this a strong refreshing smell. And best of all the scent lasts all day!

Exceptional
Such an incredible smell. One of the nicest smelling perfumes that I have ever smelt. It has lovely deep woody tones whilst still smelling fresh. My partner absolutely adores it and cannot keep away when I'm wearing it.

Smells Great

Warm, woody, spicy scent, quite durable
After immediate application it is strong, warm and woody sweet, however after few moments it becomes very musky, spicy and overpowering. For the first two hours I don’t really like it as it too musky and sweet to my senses however after about 2-3 hours it becomes milder and softer and I enjoy wearing it. I can feel some tobacco, vanilla and cedar notes after when fragrance settles down. It stays on the clothes for days, on the skin it lasts for a day. I don’t enjoy this fragrance after immediate application and first 2-3 hours however I like it after that. I would say it is durable fragrances for a day. I would consider buying it for my partner, as he find this scent energising and bold. Perfect for autumn/ winter season in my opinion.

Really great fragrance for men. Absolutely love it
I’ve only reviewed a sample but I can say from the first time I wear this perfume is absolutely a 10/10. Smells like the sun, the sea, and adds wood tones to it. I would definitely recommend for any men above 20 as it’s quite intense and mature. Really love this perfume and might buy for myself.

Nice scent
Never heard of penhaligons before but when I got the sample of the blazing Mr Sam I was pleasantly surprised. It has notes of cinnamon, cardamom, cedar and vanilla and a few more but the combination of all those different smells come together quite well. This scent last for a pretty long time it also has a bit of a price tag . Over£200 for 75ml

May have found my new scent
This is a wonderful scent. It has a slightly sweet smell with a woody and vanilla base. It’s slightly musky and the smell is quite captivating. I’ve had so many compliments wearing this and I love how long the fragrance lasts and how I get whiffs of it throughout the day

I can see why this brand/fragrance has such a high price tag. The fragrance itself is a gorgeous men’s perfume. Nutty, woody and spicy notes. The fragrance really sticks and is long lasting. And something about it just smells expensive. It isn’t the same as regular perfume, it’s very unique! Would like to try more from this brand!

Very unique and extraordinary fragrance!
If you're like me and you like to try a lot of different aftershaves and rotate the ones you use to vary things up, then you will definitely want to add this fragrance to your collection! I have never smelled anything like it before, its an extraordinary fragrance! The smell of this aftershave is almost indescribable as I've genuinely never come across anything like it before, but it does bring to mind notes of raspberry mixed with a chilli hot heat and then a warming aromatic spice. It has sweet notes of vanilla alongside woody notes and smoky notes of tobacco. Combined, this fragrance is one of the most unique smells I've ever encountered and is incomparable to anything else out there. I have had so many comments and compliments on how I smell and had lots of questions about where I've gotten this fragrance from. As it's a "parfum" the smell lasts an incredibly long time both on your skin and clothes. The bottle will last a long time as you only need to spray a little bit on, less is definitely more! I put on the aftershave in the morning and I could still smell it on my collar when I took my shirt off in the evening. If you're like me and you're wanting a new and unique scent then you're going to want to give this one a try. It is like nothing I have ever used before! It is an extraordinary scent that you will want to try for yourself!

Decent odour, although very strong!

Amazing but pricey!
Firstly I want to say this is definitely a premium quality fragrance and it smells great and lasts all day. It’s more of a sweeter scent but still very fresh. The only downside I can find is how expensive this is, I can’t fault the scent or longevity’s but it is definitely on the higher price

Fantastic

Excellent Eau de Parfum
Got this a couple of weeks ago and it's really grown on me. At first it's a bit overpowering and didn't smell great, but after a few minutes it settled down and was really nice. It's quite woody and slightly sweet & fruity - a nice combination. The scent lasted all day, which i was really impressed with.

Very high quality perfume
A very warming and spicy scent that lingers onto you for a long time..I absolutely loved wearing it as it uplifts you in these colder days. Ideal for wearing in the winter months. The scent isn't empowering but enough to get you noticed. Could definitely smell cinnamon and makes you feel cosy. Wearing it makes you feel masculine and confident and ideal to wear on special events especially date nights!

One of my favourite penhaligon scents
From first smell i was in love with this scent, it is my kind of smell which is spicy with cardomon and cinnamon also has tobacco and vanilla in. Strong and long lasting. Not a common smell so it feels nice wearing something different and luxurious compared to high street designer smells everyone smells like.

One of my the most intense fragrances
I think this is possibly one of the most unique and intense fragrances I've had the fortune of smelling. It has a perfect blend of warm spices, with an undertone of wood and tobacco to make the ultimate special occasions scent. Amazing experience
Had a great experience it he Covent Garden store today on my 1st fragrance journey. I had the journey by happenstance passing the store that was pumping out a vapour into the air from a small pipe in the shop frontage. Intrigued I went inside to be greeted by the very knowledgeable staff. She took me through several fragrances, starting with my preferences in fragrances generally and working from there by a process of elimination. She whittled it down to 2 scents. I had a spritz of both and said I’d wander round London and come back later. 6-7 hours had passed and this fragrance had developed beautifully and was as potent as the first spritz several hours before. Very impressed with the longevity of the scent I returned to the store with my partner and purchased the fragrance. Feeling bad I encouraged him to have his own fragrance journey which resulted in another purchase. Very happy and the customer service was great. No pressure, just passionate staff about the products they sell. How every business should present. Id recommend anyone visiting Covent Garden to pop by.

Mmmm, very nice
I just left Selfridges with my fiancé and I decided to give this a try. She like it immediately but I had to warm up to it. After walking around the mall, I kept smelling this luxurious smell around me while forgetting I had someone spray Blazing Mister Sam on me. I'm from the US so I don't think there are stores nearby as in the UK. However, I might have to get a bottle. Especially since the Mrs. loves it. Five star.

Blazing Mr Sam, an ocean of aroma
I was very sweetly given a sample of this from a member of staff in the Edinburgh store - I decided to premiere it on my graduation day and for this reason, it is now a scent that I relate to pride, resilience and strength. Unbelievably Amazing smell
Oh wow! I simply cannot explain just how AMAZING, different and just beautiful this fragrance is. You've got to smell it to believe it. I have to admit, this is an expensive luxury but, having said that, it's a luxury worth it because its just gorgeous. I defy anyone to smell it and try it on for yourself and not agree that it's gorgeous and different. Once tried always remembered is what I'd say. Once again a very long lasting scent but even with the blend of scents I love . Its too sweet all your scents in this collection have that powdery scent and their just too sweet !!! Buy a bottle of Creed Tabarome or George Trumper Eucris both are wonderful scents yet they lack the feminine smell in all your colognes . I really want to use your fragrances but the sweetness is overpowering !!

Incredible
This is one of the nicest perfumes I’ve ever used, and it’s so unique too. It’s got a deep almost fruity scent with berry undertones but it’s not sweet or too heavy. I only used a couple of sprays and yet I could smell it all day. I tried a sample sized spray but I’ll be asking my husband for a bottle if this for Christmas. It’s absolutely divine.
