Smells amazing.
I realllyyy love the smell of this, it’s very light smelling and maybe a touch of a talc smell, I really like It smells so fresh not over baring and it’s very long lasting, I’ve been wearing it constantly and had a lot of compliments!

Sensual scent
If you like a strong powerful scent then this is surely for you. It has the warmth of labdanum and vanilla ,this blends beautifully with roundness of rose and the softness of incense and sandalwood i would say this is a unisex scent. This really does last all day and still smells as good as when you put it on. I always get lots of compliments when I wear this

Gorgeous long lasting perfume.
I love trying new perfumes and this one is a definite winner. It is a gorgeous unusual perfume . By unusual I mean it,s like walking through a spice bazaar and smelling all the lovely different spices. I have had lots of compliments when wearing it and it lasts all day and through the night. Penhaligon’s have a great selection of fragrances, which are long-lasting, and I love, supreme quality. Kara is a favourite that can be worn by men or women which makes it easily adaptable. It has a fresh and unique smell and will last all day on the skin. It has become one of my favourites.

Different and long lasting
Slightly sweet and floral, but definitely masculine. There’s a hint of something that almost smells like menthol. It’s woody and a bit exotic. Made me think of someplace hot, selling spices I wouldn’t recognise. I could smell it all day, it has staying power, and it smells ‘different’ to a lot of colognes. Like this a lot.

Lovely smell
I have been wearing this for a few days now and although I love the smell it is very strong when first misting. My recommendation would be to spritz it and move under the most so it doesn’t just hit one spot on your skin. I’ve found that it’s much more of an appealing smell that way. The smell itself is fresh. It has tones of woodyness and spice. I like it and will definitely purchase.

Intense, magical and longlasting
This is one big perfume. I love my scents to be multilayered and interesting and Cairo from Penhaligon does not disappoint. It starts with a blast of rosy oud sweetness, quickly developing to a darker amber smoke with spicy undercurrents. I also get a lot of wood musk shades throughout the day, reminding me of incense and old churches. This fragrance could work equally well for male or female wearers and it has amazing longevity, lasting many hours on my skin as a strong scent, and days on my clothes. Use very sparingly as it really does stay put and a little goes a very long way. The description from Penhaligon is beautifully poetic, harking back to a sunrise in an ancient city and the scent does make me picture an ornate and sumptuous Mediterranean landscape. It’s a very intense perfume, for lovers of complex, magical scents – I’d say it’s best for special occasions or evening-wear but this could also quite easily become a signature scent. It would certainly conjure up memories, and turn heads!

A perfect blend
This fragrance has the perfect blend of sandalwood, saffron and cedar. It's longevity is great, I only applied once during the day and could still smell it over 24 hours later. Can be worn by anyone, it's more of a unisex product. Highly recommended for any occasion.

Delicious smell
I don't have a very sophisticated nose, so can't really comment on the individual components of this scent, but I can say without a doubt, I really like it. To me, it is warm, musky and spicy, exactly the sort of perfume I like to wear. Having said that, I was very disappointed in how long the scent lasted on my skin, it disappeared way too quickly compared to my regular brand. Neither did I receive any compliments on the smelll whilst wearing it, which I regularly do when wearing my normal perfume.

slightly masculine notes
I love perfume with a lot of old fashioned rose scent combined with patchouli. At first I could pick up the damask rose scent but after a few hours the woody earthy overtones came through which I wasn't a fan of. Reminded me slightly of an aftershave rather than the floral perfume I was hoping for. But that's just my preference.

Woody scent
Such a really woody and spicy fragrance, can be used for both male and female. My sister in law has taken a liking to the perfume and has my husband. It does have hints of a sweet undertone as well but can be used for either.

Smells divine!
I recently saw this product in stores and decoded to smell it and i must say it truly smells divine. Being a Damascus scent if i was ti summarise it in a few words id say it smells rich,expensive and very musky Arab. My brothers also loved the scent and will surely be purchasing. As for its longevity, the smell is very masculine and strong therefore last ages and i found that upon the second day it was still very noticeable on the clothing. Upon wearing this i received many compliments and will surely be purchasing this product in future.

Smells Earthy!

Nice smell
You can really smell the different spices on first sprays and it does instantly remind you of Egypt and such! I really liked this frangrance and would buy it. It's a kind of delicate but powerful frangrance , hard to understand but if you smell it you will understand!

I purchased a 100ml bottle of Cairo from the Bath store in November I had amazing advice from Phil store manager, I sampled Leather and Cairo both amazing fragrances they have projectivity, sillage & longevity…I previously used Tom Ford Oud Wood but there are issues with this fragrance..anyhow with Christmas arriving I hope the guy with the white beard delivers…..”Leather” plz !

I've yet to purchase the full size but I recently tried the Trade Routes sample set simply because this was in it. I love all things incense and this does not disappoint. On first sniff I get a rich blackened vanilla, a warm nuzzly amber with rich dark rose. Creamy cashmere notes open up at the centre to reveal an otherworldly wisp of incense with patchouli at the base There's a lot going on all at once. Just as one might imagine the atmosphere in Cairo at night time. I really need this for my winter perfume collection. Chefs kiss!
