  • Lord George is a wealthy and respected man, the archetypal patriarch. He seems to embody the noblest values of the aristocracy: virtue, respect, loyalty and faithfulness.

His fragrance reflects his essence; seemingly traditional, yet with hidden secrets.

Smokey Dark Gents Whiskey Club. Review
Bought this for my partner, mainly because the bottle looks awesome on our fragrance cabinet, however the fragrance is stunning, rich, dark, smokey, t...his fragrance should be reserved for best, for evenings preferably, great projection, longevity could be better but that's what the pocket atomizer is for, so you can re apply the amazing scent through the evening!  ... more

Stunning. Review
This is my first ever in 62 year's total of using aftershaves/ perfumes of the very much cheaper brands from other company's, I have come to a startli...ng reality of a world far exceeding in warmth and culture than the world of splash it all over products, I am well impressed with this beautiful perfume. Penhaligon's where have you been hiding since 1870? In the mortal word's "Ill be back."  ... more

Warm And Familiar, With Multiple Changes Review
Not exaggerating when I say this is probably the most beautiful fragrance I've had the pleasure of experiencing. The scent changes around 4 times..., I'd say - and now don't think I'm mad for describing this. It starts with a warm shaving foam, almost an older man, fatherly smell, this then transforms into the smell of an old country house - the mahogany and polish...again it changes to a warm leather smell, then again to a wet grass smell, as if you are being led by Lord George as he prepares for a ride on his estate. It's quite masculine, but I prefer that. just absolutely beguiling and gorgeous. A must have.  ... more

Haunting Fragrance Review
I discovered Penhaligon while celebrating my birthday in London and I saw it. Like a celebration of my whole, I was looking for a unique fragrance tha...t sum up my love and adoration for England, the Victorian era and the unique savoir-faire of the British art of life. The Tragedy of Lord George is haunting me since I had the pleasure to "taste" it. On the way to be purchased and to collect each one of them.  ... more
