For me, the best fragrances are the ones that sweep me away to Penhaligons humble beginnings in the late 19th century, my favourite era, ones that give me confidence and make me smile. Sartorial is one of those fragrances that initially confuse me. I never know how to feel or what I make of it which gives it mystery. At first, one wouldn’t be sure on whether they like it or not but what they will find is that they wouldn’t be able to stop smelling it’s mysterious, dapper and sophisticated presence in order to find out. This is one of the all time greats!

Sartorial - if you are looking for the classic gents refined dapper scent then this is the one for you My love for sartorial has now gone back many years and its the 1st fragrance i think of before putting on my suit as i go to any event This is a very complex fragrance with so many notes which all work together beautifully to create this classic signature woody scent The use of metallic notes with neroli and aged wood effect with Patchouli makes this utterly Unique Fragrance classically dapper in every way I would recommend layering this fragrance with the Savoy Steam hand & body lotion if you would like a fresher take on the fragrance and also to help with longevity with that said this is a very powerful eau de Toilette on its own so not much spray is needed with each application
