We are experiencing exceptional growth and an exciting new opportunity has arisen at Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur, who are looking to hire a Digital Marketing Manager to join their growing digital marketing team in central London.
Purpose of Role
The core objective of the Digital Marketing Manager is to drive performance efficiencies across all of our online touchpoints: website (desktop, mobile and tablet), owned and paid social channels, paid search, natural search, display, affiliates and eCRM.
Creation and managing of the ongoing ‘test & learn’ plan for all digital activity
Close working relationship with content managers, social media team and trading manager to feed back all learning and refinements into BAU
Optimising customer experience across key platforms
Analysing conversion, online behaviour and reporting back on website analytics
Managing the performance of agency's on-going PPC, Affiliate, SEO and Display campaigns
Managing the performance of agency's on-going eCRM and CRO campaigns
Managing the performance of owned social media, managed in-house
Setting achievable goals including increasing click-thru and conversion rates and decreasing cost per acquisition
Analysing web traffic and increasing the visibility of the website
Managing the split-testing programme
Proactively identify opportunities for improving performance through market insight, monitoring industry trends
Understand competitors’ activity and all other variables and insights in the market to reach maximum effectiveness
Ensure return on investment of all marketing and digital activities by accurate measurement (beyond last-touch) and analysis and take actions accordingly
Management of the performance elements of digital marketing budget
Liaison with Retail and Omni-Channel teams to ensure that opportunities for data-collection in-store are maximised, accurate and timely
Desired Skills and Experience
Proven track record of working in-house for e-commerce retail websites
Significant experience in eCommerce / merchandising management
Basic knowledge of SEO
Proven record of managing performance / media agencies
Ability to assess customer traffic and behaviour, and improve the user experience
Experience with Email Service Provider platforms and Content Management Systems
Proficient in Google Analytics
Experience of DoubleClick Campaign Manager, and Google Tag Manager, advantageous
Experience of Optimizely and HotJar
Extremely data driven, analytical and commercially aware
