Lily of the Valley: Official Scent of LFW AW14

  • This is the third time that we have worked exclusively with the British Fashion Council. Last September we scented Somerset House with the invigorating scent of Quercus, and in January, the heart of London Collections: Men, The Hospital Club was scented with our timeless classic Blenheim Bouquet.

We’re thrilled to be fragrancing London Fashion week again, this time with the inimitable Lily of the Valley; A traditional scent, but with a typically modern Penhaligons interpretation. As LFW goes from strength to strength and with so many new projects for Penhaligon’s this year, the partnership seems more relevant than ever.” Matthew Huband, Head of Global Marketing at Penhaligon’s.

A modern-classic, Lily of The Valley was created in 1976, and is sweet, fresh and graceful floral. Very feminine and deceptively complex, it opens with warm soft touches of citrus and bergamot before beguiling you with a creamy white heart overflowing with rose, ylang ylang, jasmine and lily of the valley. The sandalwood and oakmoss anchor the fragrance, strengthening it, adding persistence and longevity.

Are you looking forward to LFW AW14 as much as we are?

    • Has anyone been watching Mr.Selfridge? Lily of the Valley was really visible on one of the shop counters and Penhaligons was even mentioned last Sunday - amazing, it was 1914!!! What a heritage and reputation, love it!
