Zizonia is a nomadic and mysterious oriental; an odyssey of burnt spices, patchouli and pepper, leading to a lush oasis of sweet orange, ginger and vetiver. Heady and enticing.

    • First of all i must say that all fragrances from Penhaligon's are fantastic, it is impossible to walk out of the store empty handed. Zizonia is is definately one of my personal favourites. The inveigling fragrance leaves long trails of etheral scent embracing the entire space.

    • I think this is my favourite perfume of all time. I like to wear it in the winter months. It's dark and spicy, without being heavy. I feel as if this scent was made for me, it's just absolutely perfect.

    • An English Surprise

    • Zizonia seemed to me a little too weak at the beginning. Then reappeared all through the day in the form of a gentle scent passing by. More a light touch instead of the usually more consistent punch of other fragrances I'm used to. A nice surprise. The agrumated head (but not lemon, too unpolite) the spicy notes (a very gentle black pepper) and the woods, all work well together. Agrumes, spice and woods: one of mine (and common) favorite combination but in a smooth and gentle declination. I really like it (and my wife too). Being a '30's formula makes it more intriguing to me.
