  • A soliflore, Gardenia is a translucent watercolour in soft washes of tuberose, jasmine, gardenia, ylang-ylang, spice and vanilla. A radiant magnolia-tinted portrait of one of nature's most sensual blooms.

Gardenia was originally created in 1976 and has been resurrected as part of our 2009 Anthology Collection.

    • Romantic Gardenia, Sweet And Fresh Gardenia
    • by Anaïs
    • The gardenia is a rare and magical flower, and not only for its dazzling and pure beauty but for its unique fragance, as difficult to emulate as the smell of the rain. The gardenia flower has a delicious fragance, sweet and fruity, milky but with green fresh notes within. Well, this perfume is a very loyal recreation to the original flower: soft and gentle, also femenine without renouncing the sensuality that the gardenia emanates as a flower. "Gardenia" is a beautiful and naturalistic portrait made from the sum of subtle effects (highlighting the romantic tuberose and the soft green leaves) that create a fresh and engaging breeze that transports us to the pages of a spring romance. If I had to choose I´d say this perfume was made for Marianne, the lovely and inncent protagonist (with her eldest sister Elinor) of Jane Austen´s "Sense and Sensibility".

    • I bought Gardenia for my mom recently. The floral fragrance of the perfume transports you to the world of flowers and freshness! Lingers throughout the day without even applying twice. Enchanting, strong but sweet...just how i describe my mom! Glad i bought this perfume for her. This is now her favourite!

    • Excellent And Can Be Used As A Floral By Pale Men In The Orient
    • by Galle Expat
    • I have Gardenia growing in my garden in Sri Lanka and as a white blue eyed expat I had to try this. It is more floral and sweet as a fragrance I would usually wear as a guy but the aroma is still musk enough. My girlfriends love it and its now part of an increasingly floral range I'm buying that suits blond Caucasian men in the tropics.

    • Wonderful For Weird-Skinned Women!
    • by Dr Mimi Thebo
    • Like many women, my body chemistry is more alkaline than is normal. Many perfumes fade or intensify unpleasantly during wear. Gardenia is one of the very few perfumes in the world that is heavenly just out of the bottle and still heavenly at the end of the day...usually scents this complex will not work for me, but this one is so beautifully balanced that it does. I feel immensely cherished with Gardenia when my sweetie gifts it to me. I also feel extremely confident and understood as I start every day. Bless the blender!
