Tremendously evocative of wet earth, moss and rain, it softly detonates across your scent receptors and instantly transports you to the woodland, surrounded by dripping leaves, skin tingling with spring. Utterly beguiling, British and unique, our cult classic.
Created in 1978, this is the pure and unadulterated distillation of the scent of bluebell woods. The telltale earthy sweetness of hyacinths rises through the soft citrus head notes and mingles with rose, lily and jasmine at the heart. As it settles the flowers give way to spicy clove and cinnamon and the unique textural base note of bittersweet galbanum.
Complex and utterly distinctive, Bluebell is a soliflore scent, evocative of wet earth, moss and rain; it softly detonates across your scent receptors. Close your eyes... imagine you are standing in a bluebell wood, dappled in bright spring sunshine, a light breeze dancing through the leaves. Inhale... it has just rained... a spring shower. All around you, soft sounds, a sudden overwhelming scent, green and mossy: a carpet of bluebells, rain in the air, loamy wet bark, damp grass and floral notes.
