Quercus: Fresh, as warm as English oak; strong stable and modern.

Sartorial: This skillful reinterpretation of a classic fougere is the perfect illusion of a Savile Row workroom.

Blenheim Bouquet: A bracing mix of citrus oils, spices and woods. Immaculately turned out with a flash of heritage.

Opus 1870: A complex and elegant woody chypre. Wonderfully warm and comforting.

Endymion: A study in contrasts; spicy and fresh, strong deep.

Artemisia: Subtle and warm; nectarine, jasmine, tea and lily over precious woods and amber.

Lily of the Valley: Fresh, green, delicate, the perfume of innocence and love.

Malabah: Exotic, cool and confident, for the born traveller; spices, lush flowers, precious woods, zingy top notes.

Ellenisia: An extravagant floral with armfuls of heady white blooms wrapped in sweet plub and vanilla.

Bluebell: The pure and unadulterated scent of a bluebell wood; floral, sweet and wonderfully earthy.

    • The Library Of The Sensations
    • by Anaïs
    • ¿Have you ever imagined having all the pleasant sensations in this world bottled for you only? Calm, joy, serenity, tenderness, warmth, gentleness, nostalgia... All this beautiful sensations captured in little bottles and gently placed in a lovely and elegant purple box. That´s this "Scent Library": A delightful selection of all the gems of Penhaligon´s, a lovely library of ten fragances you´ll be both enthusiastic and shy to open once and again. But bear in mind that each fragance is delicate and proud, so treat them carefully and gently, keep calm and collected, enjoy them one by one and treat them just as the pearls they are. The Scent Library is, as it is said, a fantastic introduction into the world of Penhaligon´s. But it is more than that, far more. It is a collection of sensations for you only and it doesn´t matter if you´re a lady or a gentleman, because sensations do not understand about genders. Elegant and beautiful. Perfect.

    • (Half-)Perfect For The Perfume Peruser
    • by Ben
    • Penhaligon’s Scent Library allows a perfume peruser to experience the exhilarating breadth of Penhaligon’s range. Deeply masculine scents such as the woody Opus 1870 and the spiced-beeswax Sartorial are juxtaposed with feminine, floral Bluebell and sweet Ellenisia. My only concern is that a prospective purchaser is more likely to be male or female, rather than both, so would be predominantly interested in only half of this offering. Single-sex scent libraries would surely be welcomed.
