Last month we held our French Peoneve press event in the stunning gardens of the British Embassy in Paris. Located in lush surroundings off the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, one could have easily believed we were in the middle of the English countryside.
The leafy location typified the quintessential English garden, Peoneve was created to embody.
Throughout the afternoon, guests were treated to traditional afternoon teas and scented chocolates overlooking exquisite rose and peony bushes and an immaculately pruned lawn tennis court. As you probably all know, we at Penhaligon’s love a good tipple and the afternoon wouldn’t have been complete without a Peoneve cocktail of champagne, raspberry vodka and rose liqueur. It is safe to say they went down a treat!
Guests were fortunate enough to meet master perfumer Olivier Cresp and Nathalie, our Head of Fragrance Development who revealed the fascinating means by which Peoneve was created (nature print technology and CO2 extraction but we’re explain more about that another time!)
After an extremely successful afternoon we headed back to the UK, stopping off en route to Pierre Herman. What trip to Paris wouldn’t be complete without some macaroons?
