Account Manager - Travel Retail

We are currently recruiting for a full time Account Manager to work at in JFK Airport, New York.
It is mandatory to be available for shifts between 4:45 AM and 1:15 AM Monday to Sunday.

The shifts lengths are as follows:
4:45 AM to 1:00 PM
11:00 AM to 7:15 PM
5:00 PM to 1:15 AM

L’Artisan Parfumeur was founded in Paris in 1976 by perfumer-chemist Jean Laporte and was one of the first of a movement of exclusive niche fragrance houses inspired by nature and a desire to do things a little differently. We are looking one full time Account Manager to join our new counter in John F Kennedy International Airport, New York. Shift lengths will vary and you will be required to work weekends.

Purpose of the Role

The Fragrance Consultant is responsible for achieving sales goals by providing the highest level of customer service and complying with all company policies, procedures and directives.

Key Responsibilities

Works towards the achievement of sales goals, individual focuses and KPIs applied
To approach and engage all customers utilising the Penhaligon’s Service Steps – 5 Steps to a Successful Penhaligon’s Experience
To relate and link sales to maximise spend opportunities
To drive traffic to the counter
To actively convert customer footfall to sales
To actively ‘sell’ the Company and its products, including the story of Penhaligon’s
Building relationships with nearby vendors and retailers
Ensure all stockroom areas are kept neat and tidy for quick and efficient service
Display stock in such a manner as to promote the merchandise and the company image, using company visual guidelines
Ensure that store housekeeping standards are maintained and that shop presentation is always of a high standard


Desired Skills and Experience

Proven track record in niche or luxury environment
Experience is travel retail is highly desirable
Have the confidence to traffic stop
Proactive and dynamic
Excellent customer service
Excellent communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent language skills, another language would be a plus
