  • Created in 1991, Cornubia is a glamorous oriental rich with swathes of cherry-sweet vanilla and hypnotic heliotrope. Dazzling fruits and florals ebb and flow through haunting woods and musk all underpinned with thick clouds of vanilla. Seductive and warm, vibrant, thickly dark and luxurious, a fragrance to wrap yourself in.

    • The Seductive Secret!
    • by Charlie
    • Cornubia is filled with many secrets that can only be revield when opening the bottle. The first secret told is the soft notes of madarin and oranges creating a mysterious and secretive story on your body, and when people start to get to grips with this it is replaced with jasmine and a vanilla musk. This captures the body making one feel loving, confident and completely surrounded my the scent. Cornubia tells a story of luxury and romance. I sugget that any women who wants to embark on a story of a perfume to purchase this scent, as it is by far one of my favourite of penhaligons perfume!

    • My Signature
    • by Angel
    • I wasn't looking for a fragrance the day Cornubia found me, I was in Penhaligons with a friend when the lady talking to us said to me "something is saying to me that you have to smell this" its totally different to what I would normally wear but she was right, I did need to smell it. We left the shop, only for me to go back later to purchase this beautiful fragrance that felt like a missing part of me. I wear it nearly all the time and I'm always asked what it is. To me, Cornubia is sweet, floral, heady and warm. Unashamedly feminine yet dangerous and strong. Complex and deep, daring, independent, it makes me feel seductive and glamourous, even in my painting clothes, definately a boudoir fragrance and now my signature.

    • Hopelessly Devoted To Penhaligons
    • by Cheryl
    • I've been a Penhaligons fragrances devotee since 1973 when we lived in Esher, Surrey. At that time I discovered Victorian Posey, fell in love with it, and wore it for years. When Victorian Posey left the scent menu, I tried Cornubia, and low and behold, I entered a new era of walking with a heavenly scent around me. Many people remark at how gorgeous my fragrance is. It's mine for life, even living here in the Colorado Rocky Mountains! I don't feel dressed without it!

    • So Sophisticated
    • by Frances
    • I started using Cornubia about 10 years' ago and I still love it just as much as the first time I put it on. It brightens up my day and it's so different to all those trendy scents. People are always complimenting me on it. My daughter loves it too.

    • Exotic And Sensuous
    • by Darlene D
    • Cornubia is by far my favorite Penhaligon's scent with Bluebell following close behind. It's a nice exotic fragrance and it's great for day or evening, especially for going out on a hot date. I became addicted to Penhaligon's when I used to work on the Strip in Las Vegas. The scent is so unique, I've received plenty of compliments on it. I'm so glad Penhaligon's is carrying it again!

    • I Feel Myself Again
    • by 'myself again'
    • My son and his fiancee gave me Cornubia as a Christmas present this year when I had just finished 6 months chemotherapy and was not feeling very feminine. It sits me beautifully with its lovely range of feminine fragrances. I put it on and immediately start feeling like my old self again. This will certainly be one of my favourite perfumes. It is very similar to one I wore as my signature perfume for many years but which is no longer available. Thank you Penhaligon's for a wonderful psychological boost after a very difficult year.

    • Truly Gourmand

    • I love this. I have many Penhaligon's fragrances but return to this again and again. It reminds me of an old Guerlain (possibly L'Heure Bleue) because of the vanilla and hint of musk. Every time I wear it I feel special and feminine.

    • I first bought this to treat myself and celebrate my first born child - here I am 19 years on and still love it as much as ever! I always choose this one for special occasions and my most precious moments. Dear Penhaligons - please don't ever stop selling this fragrance, I'll be heartbroken!

    • Strange Perfume
    • by Teresa
    • I bought Cornubia on a whim on my first visit at the Penhaligon's shop in Covent Garden. I smelt it and I felt something intriguing about it. When I came home, I smelt it again and thought I had done a mistake in picking it because I didn't feel it was right for me - too feminine, too vampy for someone who's dressed like a boy and wears her hair shaved like me. After some time - and this is the "strangeness" of the Cornubia experience for me - I put it on and I realized I was right in buying it: it's just perfect for me because it brings out the exquisitely feminine side of myself. Wrapping myself up in such an oriental cloud makes me dream and fantasize, which is what I want from a perfume.

    • I first fell in love with Penhaligon fragrances when I lived in the London in the early 1970's - my first love was Victoria Posey, which I wore for years until Cornubia came into being - it has been my fragrance of first choice ever since. It's rich yet light fragrance is subtly seductive. I feel unfinished if I am not wearing my Cornubia fragrance. People have always complimented me on my choice of fragrance. Penhaligons and Cornubia are with me for life!

    • Cornubia Eau de Toilette Review

    • Cornubia has been my signature fragrance for several years. It is fresh, not heavy, making it suitable for all occasions. My one regret is that it is only available as Eau de Cologne. I would love to see a full line of products offered in this marvelous scent.
