Created in 1998, Castile is a classic citrus shot through with the intoxicating thrill of neroli. Fresh and bursting with the dusky sensuality of warm Mediterranean nights, the neroli marries perfectly with the aromatic tang of bergamot and delicate rose. The citrus notes flood the senses, uplifting and soothing. Woods and musk round off Castile, smoothing everything into a warm lick of marmalade and sunshine, perfect for summer, piquant enough to warm you through in the winter months.
This is my favorite scent from Penhaligon's. All of the notes described above are pretty spot on, but the main thing is that it smells so clean. The longevity is pretty good. I tend to reapply slightly at lunch so that I get a bit more silage but the scent is still there, close to the skin. There is no social situation where I feel this scent would be inappropriate. If you like bright, clean smelling scents, give this one a try!

I love this fragrance! A masterpiece, amazingly clean and crystal, and at the same time warm and sunny.
